Green Screen™ SPF 15 Sunscreen uses Kabana Crème’s Simple Seven™ tropical butter formula fortified with Jojoba Oil, Natural Vitamin E and Soy Lecithin, in concert with the safest, most effective and broad spectrum FDA-approved sunscreen available, zinc oxide, at a concentration of 20%.

The zinc oxide is specially manufactured to be transparent when applied yet maintain high performance SPF 15 protection. Since zinc oxide is a mineral, it, unlike other synthetic chemical sunscreens, cannot be absorbed through the skin. Its rich tropical butter moisturizers and naturally-effective antioxidants enhance skin healing after sun exposure, further preventing sun-induced skin damage and premature aging. Green Screen™ is free of synthetic sunscreens that can irritate sensitive skin.

We recommend Unscented Green Screen™ for use on children. It’s also a safe alternative for your pets. Green Screen™’s formula remains effective when exposed to water for long periods of time based on tests conducted while surfing, but always be sure to reapply frequently for optimal protection. **Recommendations**

Kabana is best applied at room temperature or warmer since it contains no petroleum-based chemical solvents like propylene glycol. Since Kabana products lack these solvents, the product will thicken when exposed to cold temperatures and thin when warmed up. If Kabana becomes too thick,warm it up or put some in your palm and rub your hands together prior to application - this will melt the product and ease application.

Unscented Green Screen SPF 15 is not without a smell - it smells like the natural edible-grade ingredients it contains. Two of the primary ones are lanolin and unrefined shea butter, both of which have an earthy scent to them. If you dislike either, you may not appreciate Unscented Green Screen. This is why Kabana makes two versions - Unscented, which is recommended for children because it's extremely mild; and Lavender-Mint, which contains these two essential oils, making application a very pleasureable experience. Since Lavender-Mint contains Peppermint essential oil, it is not recommended for use around eyes or on kids, since the menthol may irritate some areas. Kabana contains no synthetic fragrances - which are also derived from petroleum. The only scents we use come directly from plants.

As with all sunscreens, it is best to apply it and allow about 15 minutes for it to absorb. Green Screen's ingredients nourish and protect your skin, whereas the competition's products are designed to make their petroleum UV absorbers absorb into your skin, increasing exposure to these petrochemicals. This is not good for you or your children.

Remember, proper sunscreen use demands reapplication at least every two hours, and there's no such thing as a sunscreen that provides waterproof, sweatproof, all day protection! Believing such marketing simply leads to skin cancer.
